Introduction

This guide is useful for replacing a dead battery or a battery that cannot be recharged through the dock for some reason. This guide is pretty simple can be done in 3 steps, and won't break anything important

    • Flip the Roomba upside down. Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, carefully remove the 5 mm screw holding the brush in place.

    • Gently pull the brush up and remove it from the device.

    • Unscrew the four 10mm screws on the underside of the Roomba using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Remove the bottom frame of the device.

    • Grab the green tape attached to the end of the battery and remove the battery from the device.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
