Hello! My name is Ismael Nunez-Candia and I am a Civil Engineering Major at California State University, Los Angeles. Growing up I had an eager interest in mathematics and engineering. As I entered into High School I realized I enjoyed math, although it was difficult at times I really enjoyed when I was able to solve a complicated math problem. I knew I wanted to try engineering in College, so I took Ap Computer Science principles.
Although I majored in computer science for my first year of College in the end I felt it wasn't for me. So I switch to major in Civil Engineering. My hopes and dreams are to be an engineering, a title one earns through hard work and dedication. In order to accomplish this, I must use the skills I have learned from middle school and high school and develop my skills even further in order to reach my goal of becoming a Civil Engineer.
