Izafet I compound of ət (flesh) + ağa (master, lord, agha), from the popular name of Mir Movsum Agha.

Perhaps originally used in the form "Ətağa haqqı", analogically to Allah haqqı, Quran haqqı, həzrət Abbas haqqı, etc.
