Russian

МСК • (MSK) m inan (indeclinable)

- Initialism of Моско́вское вре́мя (Moskóvskoje vrémja, “Moscow Time, Moscow Standard Time”) (the time zone in western Russia)
- МСК+9
- MSK+9
- Moscow Standard Time+9 (nine hours after Moscow Time, the time zone in Kamchatka, eastern Russia)
Usage notes
In sense 2, МСК is used as a reference for the eleven time zones of Russia. A number with a minus is for the time zone west of Moscow, Kaliningrad Time (МСК−1, UTC+2); while any number with a plus is for the other nine time zones east of Moscow.
For example, МСК+5 means "five hours after Moscow Time", the time zone in Irkutsk (МСК+5, UTC+8).
