адвокатщина

Bulgarian

Etymology

From адвока́т (advokát, lawyer) + -щина (-ština, -dom, -hood). Meaning is slightly exceptional, in that it doesn't mean “lawyership” (the state of being of a lawyer) but rather the specific sleight of hand practised by a lawyer.

  • IPA(key): [ɐdvoˈkatʃtinɐ]
  • (file)
  • Hyphenation(key): ад‧во‧кат‧щи‧на
