From գոռ (goṙ).

գոռամ • (goṙam)  (aorist indicative գոռացայ or գոռացի)

  1. to make a great noise, to be violently angry
  2. to assault, to attack
  3. to insult
  4. to brag, to talk big
  5. to roar (of a lion, bull, river)
