    • 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 11:44:
      وَقِيلَ يَا أَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِي مَاءَكِ وَيَا سَمَاءُ أَقْلِعِي
      waqīla yā ʔarḍu blaʕī māʔaki wayā samāʔu ʔaqliʕī
      And it was said: “O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]."
