    • 14th century, Madhav Kandali, Saptakanda Ramayana Lanka Kanda:
      বানৰৰ মুণ্ড গাণ্ডি ফালিয়া পেলাৱে । হাত পাৱ ছিণ্ডে সবে খড়গৰ ঘাৱে ॥
      banororo muṇḍo gaṇḍi phaliya pelawe , hato pawo chiṇḍe sobe khoṛogoro ghawe .
      They slit the head and body of the monkey,
      the hands and legs all tear by the horn.
