ᡶᡠᠰᡥᡝᠮᠪᡳ
Manchu
Etymology
The verbal stem *puči- does not occur in other Tungusic languages and therefore appears to be a loan into Jurchen and Manchu, probably from Middle Korean 붗— (pùch-, “to fan, to create wind”) or Late Old Korean *부츠 (*pùchú-, “id.”).
