  東海道新幹線(とうかいどうしんかんせん)の車内(しゃない)で「まもなく名古屋(なごや)です」という日本語(にほんご)のアナウンスに続(つづ)き、「We are stopping at Nagoya Station」という英語(えいご)のアナウンスが聞(き)こえてきた。明(あき)らかに英語(えいご)ネイティブとは違(ちが)う、日本人(にほんじん)の肉声(にくせい)だ。
  Tōkaidō shinkansen no shanai de “mamonaku nagoya desu” to iu nihongo no anaunsu ni tsuzuki,“We are stopping at Nagoya Station” to iu eigo no anaunsu ga kikoetekita. Akiraka ni eigo neitibu to wa chigau, nihonjin no nikusei da.
  On the Tōkaidō Shinkansen, one can hear "Mamonaku Nagoya desu" in Japanese followed by "We are stopping at Nagoya" in English. Clearly different from a native English speaker, it is the live voice of a Japanese person.
