If pronounced uil can be compared to Manchu ᡠᠯᡤᡳᠶᠠᠨ (ulgiyan) where -giyan is the nominal suffix, leaving *ul- as the stem. Possibly related to Old Japanese 猪 (wi, “pig, wild boar”)
