Suffix

-ਮੰਦ • (-mand)

  1. Used to form adjectives from nouns with the sense of possessing the quality expressed by the noun.
    ‎ਫ਼ਿਕਰ (fikar, “worry”) + ‎-ਮੰਦ (-mand) → ‎ਫ਼ਿਕਰਮੰਦ (fikramand, “worried”)
    ‎ਅਕਲ (akal, “intelligence”) + ‎-ਮੰਦ (-mand) → ‎ਅਕਲਮੰਦ (akalmand, “intelligent”)
