Arabic ⁧أَزَادَرْخَت⁩ (ʔazādarḵat) transcribed Azadiracht in Latin editions of Avicenna's Canon of Medicine which schematically Latinized all names, in this case by taking over the Arabic name unchanged and adding the suffix +‎ -a as trees use to be female in Latin.
