Proper noun

Chænactis f

  1. Alternative form of Chaenactis
    • 1890, Alice Eastwood, Zoe, volume II (in English), page 231:
It differs from typical Chænactis chiefly in the simple leaves, prominent midvein of the palæ, and scapose inflorescence.   It might perhaps represent a new genus, but it seems better to regard it as an aberrant species of Chænactis.
