Proto-Basque
Etymology
Probably native. Alternatively perhaps from Gothic *π°πΉπ½ π·πΏπ½π³ (*ain hund, literally βone hundredβ). This derivation imposes itself phonetically, but is very problematic insofar as there are no direct borrowings from Gothic into Basque.
Descendants
- Basque: ehun
