Proto-Italic
Etymology
From *ke (“here”) + *dō (“give”, imperative).
Conjugation
In Latin, this occurs only as a fossilised expression, and has only imperative forms. Presumably, this reflects the older Proto-Italic situation as well, although it is conceivable that the verb had a full conjugation at some point.
- Singular: *kedō
- Plural: *kedate
