Marketing coinage of NPR (National Public Radio), who used the phrase to encourage listeners to send in stories about what they had been listening to.

driveway moment (plural driveway moments)

1. A brief compulsion to finish listening to something on the radio before leaving one's car.

   I had another driveway moment today, this time listening to David Sedaris.
