Etymology
From Proto-Tocharian *epiyāc (whence also Tocharian A opyāc), from an Iranian source. Compare Khotanese byāta- (“id”).
Usage notes
This noun is only attested in two phrasal verbs: epiyace käl- (“to remember, recall”) and epiyac yām- (“to cause to remember, recall to someone”).
