Etymology
From hel (“whole, full”) + böj (“bend”). Allegedly from often being kept on a lower shelf directly under the counter as a best-selling product before self-service was introduced at Systembolaget, able to be picked up with just a "full bend" by the clerk. Compare halvböj.
