Etymology

Introduced in 2004 by African feminist Obioma Nnaemeka in her article Nego-Feminism: Theorizing, Practicing, and Pruning Africa's Way. Apparently derived from negotiation feminism; Nnaemeka also explains it as no-ego feminism.
