A sea snail, including Urosalpinx cinerea and others in subfamily Ocenebrinae, such as genera Urosalpinx, Eupleura, and Ocenebra), that feeds on oysters and other shellfish, using an eversible gland to soften its prey's shell so that it can make a hole in the shell using its radula and consume the flesh.
