      Usually kinorhynchs are accommodated within the group Scalidophora [6 ], [10 ], together with Priapulida and Loricifera, and even though scalidophoran monophyly has been questioned in regard to the loriciferans [11 ], [12 ], we can at least consider Kinorhyncha and Priapulida as closely related and potential sister groups.
