     Dire che nei prossimi anni si può fare a meno del combustibile fossile; dire che bisognerà dipendere solo dall'elettrico cinese, che per produrre batterie elettriche sta bruciando carbone come non mai — o è figlio di ignoranza o è figlio di interesse economico pagato da qualcuno a suon di dollari o di yen. Perché tertium non datur evidentemente.

     To say that in the coming years we can do without fossil fuels; to say that we will need to depend exclusively on Chinese electricity, that to produce electric batteries is burning carbon like never before — either it is a product of ignorance or a product of economic interest paid by someone in dollars or yen.
