T- from plural (from ligature particle të) + archaic singular (Arbëresh) jetër, from Proto-Albanian *étera sg, *etérai pl, from Proto-Indo-European *h₁e-tero- (compare Latin cēterus (“the other one”), Ancient Greek ἕτερος (héteros, “other, another”), Umbrian etro- (“another”), Old Church Slavonic етеръ (eterŭ, “someone”), Avestan 𐬀𐬙𐬁𐬭𐬀 (atāra, “this one of the two”)).[3]
