zomerklokje
Dutch
Etymology
From zomer (“summer”) + klokje (“bellflower”). Note that, despite its name, this plant is taxonomically not of the actual bellflower family (Campanulaceae); it owes its name solely to the bellflower-like appearance of its flowers. (It belongs instead to the Amaryllidaceae.)
