I am trying to use emacs as a popup selector with fuzzy matching, it only works when the focus is on a window or a panel, the frame doesn't pop up when all windows are minimised, and the desktop area is clicked, ie. when focus is on the desktop.
The popup emacs frame has desktop id -1.
