Waleed A. Yousef, Ph.D., Senior Member, IEEE, received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Ain Shams University, Egypt; his M.Sc. in Computer Science, Helwan University, Egypt, Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from The George Washington University, U.S., and his M.Sc. in Statistics from The George Washington University, U.S. He worked as a research fellow at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the area of Machine Learning. Currently, he is an associate professor at Helwan University, Faculty of Computers and Information, Computer Science Department, Egypt. He founded MESC Labs for research and development. His area of research includes Machine Learning and data analysis. He recently filed the U.S. patent of "Systems and Methods in Computer Aided Detection".
