i used to extend contiguous device space,But today i can't extend my /root space Here is the fdisk-l's output command :

Disk /dev/sda: 931.5 GiB, 1000204886016 bytes, 1953525168 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 4096 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 4096 bytes / 4096 bytes
Disklabel type: gpt

Partition table entries are not in disk order.

How can i 'change' the order of the /dev/sda5 and make it just after the my root partition /dev/sda8 (Just before the swap partition) so i can resize it after formatting the /dev/sda5 (being a free space) . Is that possible ? Or if there is another way ? since , fdisk command shows that : Partition table entries are not in disk order. Here is a screen-shoot enter image description here

Help please ,Thanks in advance !
