I retired quite a while back from Kalamazoo College where I had taught physical chemistry for decades. I also taught a few courses in computer science during that time, even a course at MSU on LISP, and wrote an introductory book on LISP. I've been a LINUX user for years and generally work on dual boot systems. I currently prefer LINUXmint in the Debian version. I worked as a volunteer IT person in an international school in Germany where we had converted older donated machines to dual boot. While I've attempted to enlarge the number of LINUX users continuously, I've not been very successful, especially with teachers. My LISP book was originally conceived as a LOGO book back when LOGO was a hot educational tool (do you remember MindStorms by Seymour Papert?).
