A German chemist who decided to typeset his master’s thesis with TeX, swore a lot before getting a final output with XeLaTeX and lots of customisation, but is now absolutely flabbergasted on what TeX can actually do.

Currently (2015) working on his PhD thesis and once again using (XeLa)TeX, even though my supervisor wants a M$-Word version once the whole thing is finished.
