Retired building maintenance (handyman and janitorial) business owner, using Linux (mostly Xubuntu) full time since 2014. Last MS windows used was XP, first was Windows 98. That's right I mopped floors and cleaned toilets for 20 years during and after college, (Yes, I have a BS degree I never used) but then I learned things like plumbing, drywall, and carpentry and I've been doing that for the last 16 years, and can probably fix anything that's not a "smart" device in your home. And yes, I'm a bit of a renaissance man. I also drive a 25 year old truck with roll-up windows and a stick shift and don't really see any need for power everything or automatic transmissions...
