1. (Islam) durood (the uttering of specific phrases to compliment a prophet, especially Muhammad, whenever his name is recited or told)

   নামাজের শেষের কাছাকাছি গিয়ে দরূদ পড়তে হয়।

   namajer śeśer kachakachi giẏe dorud poṛote hoẏ.

   Near the end of the prayer, the durood is recited.

   আল্লাহর দোস্ত মোহাম্মদ মানহ তাহান পদ দরূদ সালাম বহুতর

   allahor dōsto mōhammod manoho tahan pod dorud salam bohutor
