Derived from Sanskrit अकलङकित (akalaṅakita). Structurally, from Tatpuruṣa compound of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিত (koloṅkito), or, by Bengali prefixation of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিত (koloṅkito), or alternatively, by Bengali suffixation of অকলঙ্ক (okoloṅko) + -ইত (-ito).
