Derived from Sanskrit अकलङकिता (akalaṅakitā). Structurally, from Tatpuruṣa compound of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিতা (koloṅkita), or, by Bengali prefixation of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিতা (koloṅkita), or alternatively, by Bengali suffixation of অকলঙ্কিত (ôkôlôṅkitô) + -আ (-a).
