Derived from Sanskrit अकलङकिनी (akalaṅakinī). Structurally, from Tatpuruṣa compound of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিনী (koloṅkini), or, by Bengali prefixation of অ- (o-) + কলঙ্কিনী (koloṅkini), or alternatively, by Bengali suffixation of অকলঙ্কী (ôkôlôṅki) + -ইনী (-ini).
